Responsibilities of this Theatre Nurse job:

• Monitoring Patients Post-Surgery
• Assess and manage patients’ pain levels, administering prescribed medications and other interventions to ensure comfort and promote healing.
• Provide post-operative care and support
• Coordinate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Report and document all aspects of post-operative care, ensuring any concerns or complications are communicated to the appropriate medical staff promptly.

Requirements of this Theatre Nurse job:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) Qualification
• Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Registration
• Must hold a valid work permit: EU or EEA passport, IRP Stamps 1G, 2 or 4
• Relevant Healthcare Certificates
• Experience in Perioperative Nursing and Acute Care
• Experience dealing with high-dependency patients, and managing post-anesthesia care units (PACU) is highly valued
