Support Worker – Leamlara, Cork

Shifts Available:

• Day shifts: 08:00 – 20:00
• Night shifts: 20:00 – 08:00
• Monday to Sunday

About the Role
Excel Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Leamlara, Cork. This is a flexible agency role where you will support individuals in residential and community settings, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.

What You’ll Do

• Provide personal care and support in line with individual needs.
• Assist with daily living tasks including meals, mobility, and medication support.
• Encourage independence, dignity, and community participation.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and safeguarding procedures.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the highest standard of care.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous care/support experience desirable.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or working towards) preferred.
• Permission to work in Ireland ( EU Passport, Stamp 4, 2 , 1G, LAM5)
• Flexibility to cover day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Garda vetting and references required.
• Up-to-date training in Manual Handling, First Aid, and safeguarding an advantage.
