Our client, a newly opening pharmacy, is seeking a Support Pharmacist to join their team in Wexford Town.

Location: Wexford Town

Full-time position

Day shifts – Monday to Friday with some weekend availability

As Support Pharmacist, you will:

• Oversee the dispensing process from start to finish
• Manage pharmacy stock levels and perform regular date checks
• Provide expert advice on the safe and appropriate use of all medicines, including over-the-counter and complementary products
• Guide, support, and supervise pharmacy staff as required
• Assess patient symptoms, recommend treatment, and identify when referral is necessary
• Build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, suppliers, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure pharmacy claims are accurate and submitted promptly

The successful candidate will have:

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (no conditions on registration)
• Ideally, experience in community pharmacy (not essential)
• Strong communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
