Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse on a full time, permanent contract, for a charming, medium sized nursing home located in North Dublin.

Responsibilities of a Staff Nurse:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare assistants and clinical nurse managers, to promote effective communication and uphold our client’s fundamental values.
• Manage a caseload of residents on each shift.
• Work within your scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual person-centred care plans.
• Ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic and ethical manner and that the dignity and spiritual needs of the patient are respected.
• Maintain good relationships with the residents and their family members.
• Providing a high standard of care and service within the workplace.
• Ensure excellent communication between residents and their family.
• Work in accordance with An Bord Altranais Code of Professional Conduct at all times.

Requirements of a Nurse:

• Active NMBI Pin.
• Proven experience in the Irish healthcare system.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Genuine interest in working with the elderly.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Eligible to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permit).
