Job Title: Physiotherapist – Acute
Location: Kilkenny
Job Type: Full-time, 6-month specified purpose contract (strong potential for extension)
Salary: HSE Pay Scale (commensurate with experience)
Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Physiotherapist on behalf of a busy Acute Hospital in Kilkenny.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in an acute hospital setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation and discharge planning.
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Track patient progress, review and adapt treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans, mobility, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Essential:
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (CORU registration essential).
- Acute hospital post graduate experience is essential.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering patient-centred care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.
