Excel Healthcare is seeking a Social Worker for a client in Galway. Full qualification desired.

Responsibilities of this Social Worker Job:

* Plans and organises activities and necessary resources efficiently and effectively.
* To provide a range of Social Work services to children, young people and their families attending the service.
* Holds an appropriate and effective set of professional values and beliefs and behaves in line with professional standards
* Collaborate with the child/young person while working in partnership with their parent/family/carer and all other relevant stakeholders to identify and achieve goals.
* Forms strong positive working relationships across all areas of the service, builds on a common understanding.
* To work in collaboration with the other members of the interdisciplinary team in the planning and delivery of services for children and young people, in particular in the development of child and family centred service provision.

Essential Criteria for this Social Worker Job:

*Social Work Register maintained by the Social Work Registration Board at CORU
*Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU
*Eligible to work in Ireland ( no Visa sponsorship offered)

Desired:
* Minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience.
* Experience of Inter-disciplinary team working.
* Some years’ experience of working in the disability sector.
* Recent, relevant experience working with children and their families.
* Experience working with children with disabilities.
