Responsibilities:

  • Support service users with daily living skills, community integration, and personal development

  • Promote dignity, respect, and autonomy in all aspects of care

  • Assist with the implementation of individual care/support plans

  • Foster a positive and empowering environment

  • Accurately document and report care-related activities

  • Engage in meaningful activities and outings with service users

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Full driver’s license (essential)

  • QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care or equivalent (essential)

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities

  • Manual Handling, Patient Moving & Handling, and Children First certificates (or willing to complete)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Reliable, compassionate, and committed to person-centred care
