Social Care Worker – Raheny
Excel Recruitment are currently hiring an experienced Social Care Worker for temporary work in a community centre in Raheny. As a Social Care Worker you will be part of a team that provides support and opportunities to people living with intellectual disabilities or a mental health condition.
This includes all aspects of personal care, assisting with meal preparation and other aspects of physical well-being. You will also support service users with the development of personalised care plans based on their individual needs with a key focus on community involvement
The working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 4pm and Fridays 8:30am to 3pm.
Responsibilities of this Social Care Worker job:
- Deliver high standards of care while maintaining the dignity of the patient
- Carry out assigned tasks as directed
- Take positive direction while working alone or as part of the team
- Support the staff in caring for service users
- Promote physical, emotional, social, cultural, ethnic and spiritual welfare of each service user
Requirements / Qualifications for this Social Care Worker job:
- Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card
- QQI Level 7 in Social Care, BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification
- CORU Registered (or eligible to register)
- Knowledge of HIQA standards
- Full clean licence (not essential)
