Excel recruitment is currently looking for a Social Care Worker in Dublin to work with people with intellectual disabilities based in Navan Road.

Responsibilities/Duties of Social Care Worker:

• Assisting in promoting self-development, independence and the individually of each client.
• Assisting in arranging of meals and diet programmes for the Service Users.
• Carrying out procedures and therapies carefully. Observing and reporting in accordance with established standards.
• Ensure that the primary care needs of the service user are met
• Work in partnership with parents/guardians or other agencies for the benefit of the client.
• Promote physical, emotional, social, cultural, ethnic and spiritual welfare of each client

Requirements / Qualifications of a Social Care Worker:

• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card
• QQI Level 7 in Social Care, BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards
• Full clean licence (not essential)
