Location: Ennis, Co. Clare
Service Type: Residential (Adults with Intellectual Disabilities)
Contract: Agency-Based | Flexible Shifts (Days, Evenings, Sleepovers, Weekends)

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supporting residents in their daily lives within a home environment

  • Assisting with personal care, meal prep, medication administration, and household tasks

  • Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion in the community

  • Following individualized care/support plans and daily routines

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns

  • Ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive living space

  • Collaborating with a team of professionals and adhering to Brothers of Charity policies

Requirements:

  • Must be CORU Registered or hold a CORU approved qualification – QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care or equivalent (essential)

  • Eligible to work in Ireland (Hold EU Citizenship/ IRP 4 or 1G )
  • Full driver’s licence (essential)

  • 6+ months experience in a residential or similar setting with individuals with intellectual disabilities

  • Up-to-date certificates in:

    • Manual Handling

    • Patient Moving & Handling

    • Children First (Tusla)

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Commitment to person-centred care
