Social Care Worker – Blackpool, Tivoli, Clogheen, Cork

Shifts Available

• Residential Services: 10am – 10pm + Sleepover shifts (Mon-Sun)
• Aftercare Services: 10am – 10pm day shifts

The Role

Join Excel Healthcare as a Social Care Worker on flexible agency shifts. You’ll support service users in residential and aftercare services, promoting independence and inclusion while delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

Requirements

• QQI Level 7 in Healthcare/Social Care or higher (or equivalent)
• Experience in care, aftercare, or residential services
• Strong communication & teamwork skills
• Flexibility for day and sleepover shifts
• Full driver’s license (desirable but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support in line with individual care plans
• Promote independence, inclusion, and personal development for service users
• Support with daily living needs (personal care, meals, household tasks)
• Encourage and assist service users to participate in education, work, and community activities
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Work as part of a team to ensure safe and high-quality care
• Safeguard the wellbeing of all service users in line with policy and best practice
