Excel Healthcare are recruiting Social Care Workers to work in Drogheda, Co. Louth within Assessment and Intervention team for Tusla Child and Family Agency.

This is a temporary full-time role ( 39hrs per week)

Responsibility of this Social Care Worker job :

• Carry out comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and their families, identifying areas of risk, vulnerability, and need.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans that address identified needs, with a focus on child-centered, family-oriented approaches.
• Act as an advocate for children and families, ensuring they are empowered to make informed decisions and access relevant services.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of all assessments, interventions, and case management activities
• Collaborating with families, colleagues, and external agencies.

Requirements for this Social Care Worker job:

• Must be registered with CORU or be eligible to register or hold a CORU-approved qualification.
• Excellent assessment, planning, and case management skills, with the ability to adapt plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Full clean licence (not essential)
