Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting Social care worker in Wexford on behalf of Tusla. Tusla promotes the welfare and development of children in Ireland.

This is Agency cover on a temporary part time basis.

Responsibilities of this social care worker Job

• Development and implementation of Care and placement plans
• To promote and encourage well being and social engagement
• Working directly with children and young people (15-16 yrs old)
• Counselling and Therapeutic Support
• Assisting with personal care and provide emotional Support
• General day-to-day activities
• Communication with the children and families and other allied healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Educating and helping in professional Development
• Managing Conflicts and difficult situations in professional manner.

Requirements for this social care worker Job

• Social care Level 7 Qualifications or equivalent
• Experience working with Children is an advantage
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• All necessary Certificates
• Patient care, time management, problem solving and Communication Skills
• Maintain high standards and quality service
