Job Title: Senior & Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapists
Location: Meath or Drogheda
Contract Type: 1-Year Full-Time Agency Contract

Excel Recruitment are recruiting two Speech and Language Therapists to join a friendly and supportive Children’s Disability Network Team within an easy drive from north Dublin.

The Team & Opportunity
You will join an established Children’s Disability Network Team, with strong multidisciplinary support and access to ongoing supervision and clinical development.
- Positions available within Children’s Disability Network Teams in Meath or Drogheda.
- Work with children (0-18 years) with a range of needs including developmental delays, autism, physical and sensory disabilities, and learning difficulties.
- Be a key member of a collaborative MDT including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
- Access to regular training, CPD opportunities, supervision, and peer support as part of the Progressing Disability Services model.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention plans for children supported by the CDNT
- Contribute to the development and review of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring goals reflect the priorities of the child and family
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated, child-centred care
- Prioritise caseloads in line with clinical needs and service requirements
- Maintain high-quality documentation including assessment reports, therapy plans, and progress notes
- Provide therapy within appropriate clinical, community, and educational settings
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, HIQA standards, Progressing Disability Services, and professional guidelines
- Engage in service development, quality improvement, and clinical audit activities.
Essential Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Speech & Language Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience for Senior Grade applicants
- Paediatric experience is welcomed, but not essential for Staff Grade roles
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Eligibility or membership of the IASLT
