Responsibilities of an Registered Nurse working within the HSE:

• Working alongside a multi-disipinary team of nurses, healthcare assistants and doctors
• Provide a high level of care to all patients
• Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating highly specialized nursing care
• Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards.
• Care planning and communication with families.
• Administration of medication to patients
• Care planning and monitoring
• Iv application (In some facilities)
• All other reasonable duties

Requirements of an Registered Nurse working in the HSE:

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Right to Work in Ireland – EU or EEA passport, IRP Stamps 1G, 2 or 4.
• Relevant certificates ( HSE Land)
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Experience within the Irish Healthcare system
• Flexible availability
