Excel Healthcare, a Tier 2 provider for HSE nurses, is now looking for a Psychiatric Nurse to work in acute HSE and private healthcare facilities throughout West Dublin and Tallaght. This position would be suitable to a Psychiatric Nurse interested in expanding their experience within various mental health facilities and also have flexible working hours.

Responsibilities of this Psychiatric Nurse job:

• Assessing and planning care requirements
• Reviewing care plans and monitoring patient progress
• Co-ordinate investigations, treatment, therapies and patient follow-up
• Consult with other psychiatrists and other health professionals
• Administering medication via all routes
• Participate in regular performance and clinical reviews with manager
• Updating clinical records

Requirements for this Psychiatric Nurse job:

• Permitted to work in Ireland
• Be registered on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Have fluent spoken and written English
• Have a clear commitment to person-cantered care and strong interpersonal skills.
• Have completed Mental Health Act Training.
