An independent pharmacy in Youghal, Co. Cork is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment alongside two Pharmacists and two to three Dispensers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist

• Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and support to patients

• Manage stock control and ordering, ensuring the dispensary is well-organised and fully stocked

• Process prescription claims and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations

• Work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and professional work environment

• Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping and patient file management

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician qualification (IPU, Higher Certificate, or equivalent)

• Previous experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting is desirable

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., TouchStore) is an advantage
