Responsibilities of this HSE Midwife Job:

• Provide high-quality care to expectant mothers, new mothers, and their babies.
• Work on your initiative and as part of a team
• Educate parents on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn car
• Assist with the delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby.
• Provide continuous support and care during labor and delivery, offering physical, emotional, and psychological support.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of women and their families, promoting informed choice and autonomy in maternity care.

Requirements of this HSE Midwife Job:

• Active NMBI Pin
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in maternity care
• Relevant and up-to-date certificates
• Eligible to work in Ireland – EU or EEA passport, IRP Stamps 1G, 2 or 4
• At least one year of experience as a midwife in an acute setting
• Have a high level of English, both written and spoken
