Excel Recruitment are recruiting Midwives on behalf of a community service in Dublin South West.

We have immediate full-time vacancies for Registered Midwives to join the community team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, delivering care to mothers and babies in the post-natal period, both in clinic and domiciliary settings.

Location: Dublin South West (CHN 3, CHN 8 & CHN 9)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: 6-12 months, immediate start

Duties of the Midwife include:

• Providing high-quality post-natal care to mothers and babies in clinic and at home
• Carrying out assessments, health promotion, and parent education
• Supporting families with feeding, bonding, and early parenting guidance
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation

Midwife must:

• Be a Registered Midwife with NMBI registration
• Hold relevant post-natal care experience
• Have access to own transport and a full driving licence
• Be compassionate, supportive, and family-focused
