Kitchen Assistant – Portlaoise

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation (e.g., chopping, peeling, portioning)

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas to maintain hygiene standards

• Washing and storing kitchen equipment and utensils

• Assisting with deliveries and food storage

• Ensuring food is correctly labeled and stored

• Following food safety and health regulations at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not essential

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good spoken English and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (desirable)
