Excel Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Intellectual Disabilities Staff Nurse to join our part-time team in a private facility in Dublin 7. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a person-centred environment where your skills and care will make a true difference in residents’ lives.

Responsibilities of this Intellectual Disabilities Nurse include:

* Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.
* Develop and support care plans that promote dignity, independence, and well-being.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for residents.
* Assist in managing behaviours that challenge using professional intervention strategies.
* Maintain accurate care records.

Requirements of this Intellectual Disabilities Nurse role include:

* Hold a relevant nursing qualification like – RGN, RNMH, RNID.
* Registered with NMBI (pin required).
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behaviours that challenge is an advantage.
* Flexibility, compassion, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
* A valid work permit for Ireland – EU, IG, 4 (unfortunately we do not offer sponsorship)
