Kilkenny – Housekeeping in a Healthcare Setting

Excel Recruitment is looking for cleaning operatives located in and around Kilkenny to work within various healthcare sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain hygienic standards within all patient, exam, and common rooms
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
• Restock supplies (gloves, paper products, sanitisers, etc.)
• Operate cleaning equipment in a safe manner
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests

Qualifications & Requirements

• Housekeeping or cleaning experience (healthcare setting preferred but not required)
• Manual Handling, Food Safety, and HSEland certifications or willingness to complete them
• Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Willing to do compliance as required by the HSE
