Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant for a client based in The Curragh, Co. Kildare.

Working shifts are 12hrs and we offer both day and night shifts

Day shifts – €14ph
Night shifts – €18ph

Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job

• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare (minimum course modules obtained: Care of the Elderly and Care Skills) with at least 6 months’ experience.
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Patient Manual Handling.
• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards.
• Have own transport

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job

• Assisting patients with high standards of care within nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Assist and support other staff.
• Carry out tasks as directed.
• All other reasonable healthcare assistant duties.
