Excel Recruitment is now hiring a Healthcare Assistant in Dublin 16 to work with a team of healthcare professionals in care of the elderly facilities.

Responsibilities/Duties this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Assisting patients with high standards of care within nursing homes and hospitals
• Provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being
• Assist and support other staff
• Carry out tasks as directed

Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare (minimum course modules obtained: Care of the Elderly and Care Skills)
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Patient Manual Handling (Excel training can be provided or through HSE Land)
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards
• Hold appropriate working permit, EU passport or valid IRP card
• Experience of at least six months within healthcare is desirable
• Driver’s license and having a car accessible to you is preferred (not essential)
