Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job

• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare (minimum course modules obtained: Care of the Elderly and Care Skills) with experience
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Patient Manual Handling (Excel training can be provided or through HSE Land)
• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job

• Assisting patients with high standards of care within nursing homes and assisted living facilities
• Assist residents with their personal care needs
• Assist and support other staff
• Carry out tasks as directed
• All other reasonable healthcare assistant duties
