Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to work in a HSE facility in South Dublin, particularly in Dublin 16.

We are currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant who is looking for agency work on a flexible schedule. This is an exciting opportunity for any Healthcare Assistant interested in new and accessible ways to gain experience in a new setting with both full and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Work under the supervision of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including taking and recording vital signs, monitoring patient conditions, and reporting any changes as needed.
• Assist and support patients with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, toileting etc. across different healthcare settings including hospitals, nursing homes etc.
• Communicate and form meaningful relationships with patients, their families and other staff.
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and common areas, following safety guidelines and infection control procedures to a high standard.

Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Relevant healthcare qualifications including Care of the Elderly and Care Skills.
• Great communication, organisation, interpersonal and observation skills, and the ability to work both as a team and independently when required.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting/HSE settings is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English.
