Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant on a full time, permanent contract, for a purpose-built, modern nursing home located in North Dublin.

This full-time permanent contract would suit anyone living in the Dublin 15 area. Our client prides themselves in providing high quality care to all residents. This role is suitable for anyone with an interest in healthcare and care of the elderly.

Responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare assistants and staff nurses, to promote effective communication and uphold our client’s fundamental values.
• Providing a high standard of care and service within the workplace.
• Ensure excellent communication between residents and their family.
• Attending to the resident’s personal care and assisting with activities of daily living.

Requirements of a Healthcare Assistant:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent.
• A ‘can do’ attitude.
• Experience of caring for others in a professional capacity is desirable.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Trustworthy, committed, kind & punctual.
