What We’re Looking For

  • A recognised nursing or midwifery qualification
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), in accordance with the requirements of the relevant role
  • Relevant mandatory healthcare training and certifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, professional and reliable approach
  • An interest in developing your clinical skills and delivering high standards of care
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport may be beneficial for certain placements

Your Role

Depending on your discipline and placement, your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing safe, high-quality and person-centred care
  • Supporting patients, service users, women and families according to their individual needs
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Following relevant HSE, HIQA and Mental Health Commission standards, as applicable to the service
  • Upholding professional standards and contributing to positive patient and service-user outcomes
