Grade IV Administrator
Excel Recruitment is seeking a Grade IV Administrator for our client in Dublin 8. The Grade IV Administrator will provide efficient administrative support to the department, ensure high standards of record management, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to effective service delivery across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day‑to‑day administrative operations and ensure organised, secure record‑keeping.
- Use IT systems and Microsoft Office to produce high‑quality documentation and reports.
- Plan and organise workloads, meet deadlines, and support effective communication across the service.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of policies, legislation, and internal procedures.
- Provide cross-cover for colleagues when required.
- Support staff by preparing documentation, monitoring quality, and assisting with attendance and performance processes.
- Participate in training, development, and mandatory learning.
- Comply with all health and safety, data protection, and service‑specific standards, including relevant national guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or office‑based environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage workload and work as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, show initiative, and adapt to changing demands.
- Good character and capacity to undertake the duties of the post.
