Duties of the Practice Nurse:
- Phlebotomy
- Injections
- Wound care & dressings
- Chronic disease management
- Cervical screening
- Childhood immunisations
- Ante-natal visits
Practice Nurse must:
- Be fully registered with the NMBI
- Have excellent communication and time management skills
- Previous General Practice experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
