In partnership with our client, Excel Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing for a transitional and step-down care facility based in Tipperary

The Director of Nursing will lead the Senior Management team to provide strategic leadership and management of a sub-acute facility. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead, manage and develop a large team including a Medical Officer, Physio, Medical Social Worker and Occupational Therapist and specialiast nursing team while monitoring the safety and quality of care and all clinical services relating to patients. Acute hospital experience will be key given that this sub-acute nature of this facility. This fast paced role may suit a Director of Nursing in a nursing home facility with a background in acute nursing

• NMBI registration
• Natural Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills
• Management experience in a similar or ideally, a hospital environment
