Our client is currently recruiting a passionate and proactive Clinical Nurse Manager to join their dedicated team in their modern, well-regarded nursing home in Maynooth.
About the Role:
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be a key part of the nursing leadership team, supporting the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing in maintaining and developing a high standard of care for residents.
You will provide clinical supervision, mentor junior staff, and help drive a culture of safety, warmth, and quality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the day-to-day clinical operations of the home
- Lead by example in the delivery of person-centred, evidence-based care
- Mentor and supervise nurses and healthcare assistants on shift
- Ensure care plans are up-to-date, person-centred, and reviewed regularly
- Participate in audits, HIQA compliance, and clinical governance activities
- Assist with staff training, development, and performance feedback
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for residents and staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and allied health professionals
Your Team:
- Reporting to ADON/DON with full support from management
- Work alongside an experienced team of nurses, HCAs, and allied staff
- Backed by regional clinical support, compliance leads, and training resources
Essential Criteria:
- NMBI-registered nurse (RGN, RPN or RNID)
- Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing experience in a residential or similar care setting
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred (e.g. CNM, Team Lead, Senior Staff Nurse)
- Strong clinical skills and understanding of HIQA regulations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for high-quality, person-centred elder care
