Duties of the Clinical Nurse Manager:

• Lead and support the nursing team to ensure high standards of patient-centred care
• Manage day-to-day clinical operations within the unit
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, policies, and procedures
• Support staff development, training, and performance management
• Coordinate care planning and liaise with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and risk management processes

Clinical Nurse Manager must:

• Be a Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior nursing role
• Have previous management or supervisory experience (desirable)
• Possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Have a commitment to continuous professional development
