Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Clinic Nurse for our private client based in South Dublin. This Clinic is located near Ballinteer.

This is a full time, permanent contract in a state-of-the-art eye clinic where you can enhance your clinical and theatre nursing skills while working in a busy and rewarding workplace alongside a friendly team. Responsibilities for this Clinic Nurse job:

• Participating in clinical workups for consultations by conducting ophthalmic diagnostic testing on patients.
• Conducting virtual consultations with patients to record their reason for undergoing surgery, past medical history, visual needs and so on, before meeting with their surgeon
• Scrubbing for procedures in the dedicated surgical theatre on site.
• Assisting patients with queries over the phone and via email.
• Work alongside the multidisciplinary team, including nursing, administration, and ophthalmology team.
• To be familiar with and to adhere to all company policies and procedures, managing patients on the day of surgery.

Requirements for this Clinical Nurse job:

• Active NMBI registration.
• High levels of organizational and communication skills.
• A compassionate approach to patient care.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Prior theatre experience is not essential but is an advantage.
