Chef

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for residents, patients, and staff while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with menu plans and dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is prepared and served to a high standard within designated time frames.
• Follow HACCP procedures and all food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with food ordering and inventory management.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen environment.
• Healthcare, nursing home, hospital, or care home experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of dietary and nutritional requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
