Catering Officer

Excel Recruitment seeks a Catering Officer for a Healthcare unit located in Dublin South. This position is temporary and ongoing, with a minimum duration of 3 months. The salary for this role starts at €32k, depending on experience, offering Monday to Friday daytime shifts.

Experience Required:

• Two to three years of experience in a healthcare unit’s Catering Department
• Proficiency with HACCP systems and conducting quality checks
• Degree or Diploma in Hotel & Catering or relevant Chef Qualification

Responsibilities of the Catering Officer:

• Oversee daily catering operations
• Ensure compliance with HACCP records
• Verify completion of menu slips
• Maintain hand hygiene standards
• Conduct patient surveys
• Provide assistance in food service when necessary
• Training will be provided

Preferred Candidate Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Food Safety Management Systems
• Expertise in food hygiene management (HACCP)
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations

Experience in a healthcare unit is advantageous but not mandatory.
