Excel Recruitment is looking for an experienced barista to join the Hospitality team in Dublin. Ideal candidate will have barista experience and has excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a team and on their own initiative.
Responsibilities of barista
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the coffee bar, brewing equipment, and seating areas.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and speciality drinks, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, ensuring proper settings and calibration for optimal flavor and consistency.
- Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate till operations.
Requirements of barista
- Attention to detail in order to create visually appealing beverages.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based beverages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for calculating orders and making changes.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
