Role Overview:

As a Social Care Worker, you will support children and young people within Tusla residential services, providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes their development, wellbeing, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings
• Build positive relationships that encourage growth, resilience, and independence
• Support daily routines including education, recreational activities, and life skills
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs and incident reports
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes
• Adhere to Tusla standards, HIQA regulations, and safeguarding policies at all times

Essential Requirements:

• Must be CORU Registered as a Social Care Worker (essential)
• Previous experience in residential or social care settings (preferred)
• Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and waking nights
• Full right to work in Ireland
