We are currently looking for a Healthcare Assistant who is looking for flexible agency work with competitive rates of pay. This is a great opportunity for any Healthcare Assistant looking for ways to gain experience with both full-time and part-time work available.

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Adhere to all HSE requirements and guidelines and provide excellent quality healthcare to patients while supporting nursing staff.
• Assist and support patients with daily living activities across various healthcare settings including hospitals, nursing homes etc.
• Communicate and form meaningful relationships with patients, their families and other staff members.
• Ensure the cleanliness of patient rooms and common areas, following safety guidelines and infection prevention and control procedures to a high standard to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant job:

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in healthcare or equivalent as well as required HSE certifications.
• Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and observation skills, and the ability to work both as a team and independently when required.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English.
