We are currently recruiting experienced Chefs to join our temporary team, working in a healthcare setting based in the Carlow area. This is a great opportunity for chefs who are looking for flexible hours, steady work, and a rewarding environment.
Due to the location, this role may suit candidates with access to a car coming from Carlow town or surrounding areas such as Kilkenny, Portlaoise, Athy, Naas, and nearby counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals in line with dietary requirements
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Work efficiently in a structured kitchen environment
- Collaborate with kitchen and care staff to ensure service runs smoothly
- Ensure all HACCP procedures are followed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef, ideally in healthcare, contract catering, or high-volume environments
- Knowledge of special diets (desirable)
- HACCP certification
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchens
- Own transport is highly desirable due to location
