Location: Clondalkin, Dublin 22

Contract Type: One year agency contract likely to be extended or become permanent

Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week)

Excel Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading HSE Community Mental Health service to recruit a dedicated Staff grade Occupational Therapist to join the launch of its brand new Adult ADHD Team in Clondalkin.

This is an exceptional and exciting time to join a new service. This position offers the rare chance to influence clinical pathways, establish group programs, and truly shape the culture of a new specialist team.

Role Purpose

The successful Occupational Therapist will provide expert assessment and evidence-based intervention as a core member of the new multidisciplinary Adult ADHD Team.

Key responsibilities will involve specialising in functional difficulties related to ADHD (e.g., executive functioning, vocational/educational support, organisational skills, and routines).

Essential Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy.
  • CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist (or pending confirmation).
  • Previous experience in Mental Health, with a strong interest in neurodiversity and ADHD.
  • Demonstrable clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
  • A recovery-oriented, person-centred, and collaborative approach to care.
