Healthcare Assistant-Dublin

Excel Recruitment is looking for experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team. This role offers the flexibility to choose from a range of shifts in hospitals and nursing homes across Dublin and Leinster. Whether you’re seeking full-time hours or occasional work, we have opportunities to fit your lifestyle.

Location: Dublin

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care while upholding the dignity and comfort of each patient.
• Carry out assigned duties efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support nursing and medical staff in delivering daily care routines.
• Assist residents and patients with personal care and day-to-day activities.
• Work effectively as part of a team or independently under supervision.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (must include Care Skills and Care of the Elderly).
• Up-to-date certification in the following (completed within the past 18 months):
• CPR / Basic Life Support
• Patient Moving & Handling
• Infection Prevention & Control
• Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
• CPI / MAPA (Crisis Prevention or Management of Actual or Potential Aggression)
• Two recent written references.
• Knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards.
• Must currently reside in Ireland with the right to work (visa if applicable).
