In partnership with our client, Excel Healthcare are currently recruiting an Assistant Director of Nursing for the opening of an established nursing home in Co Kildare

The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing to provide strategic leadership and management of a state-of-the-art 70 bed facility which is due to open over the coming months. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead, manage and develop a large team while monitoring the safety and quality of care and all clinical services relating to residents. Proven management experience in residential care is essential. This role may suit an experienced nurse manager who is looking for a change and to be part of a new opening with one of Ireland’s most innovative and ambitious healthcare providers

Responsibilities of this Assistant Director of Nursing job include:

• Ensuring implementation and adherence to company and HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Overseeing all resident care and the home’s clinical practice
• Financial, administrative, and budgetary management
• Recruitment, training, and development of all staff

What you need to be considered for this Assistant Director of Nursing job:

• NMBI registration
• Natural Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills
• Management experience in a similar facility at ADON or CNM level
