Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for an acute hospital in Cork. This job would suit anyone looking for flexible working hours and gain experience within a public hospital.

Responsibilities of this Registered Nurse job:

• Administer patient treatments as instructed by the medical team.
• Perform essential assessments.
• Help develop individualised care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Keep up to date with nursing practices and advancements through continuous professional development and training.
• Provide health education and support to patients and their families regarding treatments, procedures, and disease management.

Requirements for this Registered Nurse job:

• Possess a recognized nursing degree or diploma.
• Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and have an active Pin.
• Hold appropriate work authorization to work in Ireland (e.g., EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work visa).
• Have experience within a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English.
• Display necessary nursing skills, including patient care, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Provide professional references and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
