Excel Recruitment is recruiting Specialist Support Workers on a permanent full-time basis, based in East Belfast with a salary of £25,500 per year and a staff benefit package.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

• Provide exceptional person-centered support to all people within the service.
• Form positive relationships with the people you support, enabling them to live their lives, communicate their wishes, enhancing their choices while always staying professional with the people you support and their families.
• Support people to be safe and healthy and support their independence.

Requirements:

• Either 3 years’ experience in a similar setting/QCF Level 2- and 2-years’ experience/QCF Level 3 and 1-year experience/Psychology Degree and 1-year experience.
• 1 year experience working with learning disabilities or autism.
• 1 year experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
• Be registered or agree to register with NISCC on appointment.
• Full, clean driving licence or the ability to travel independently.
