Excel Healthcare a Tier 2 supplier for the HSE is now looking for a Social Worker to work in Swords, Co. Dublin within the Children in Care Team for Tusla Child and Family Agency.

This is an agency full-time role ( 35hrs per week)

Responsibility of this Social Worker job :

• Manage a caseload of clients, developing and implementing individualised service plans to address their unique needs and goals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and risks, providing support and referrals to appropriate services.
• Act as an advocate for children and families, ensuring they are empowered to make informed decisions and access relevant services.
• Maintain accurate, timely records of all assessments, interventions, and case management activities
• Collaborating with families, colleagues, and external agencies.

Requirements for this Social Worker job:

• Must hold a degree in Social Work or
• Must be registered with CORU or be eligible to register or hold a CORU-approved qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a social work role, ideally with previous experience working within child protection.
• Excellent assessment, planning, and case management skills, with the ability to adapt plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
