Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting Social Care Worker in Kerry on behalf of Tusla. This contract primarily seeks relief staff who can deliver direct care, support, and advocacy for children, young people, and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

This Agency offers temporary staffing for both part-time and full-time positions.

Responsibilities of this Social Care Worker job

• Create and execute care and placement plans.
• Promote well-being and encourage social engagement.
• Work directly with 15- to 16-year-old children and young people.
• Provide counselling and therapeutic support.
• Assist with personal care and offer emotional support.
• Facilitate general day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with children, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Educate and support professional development.
• Manage conflicts and difficult situations professionally.

Requirements for this Social Care Worker job

• Social care Level 7 Qualifications or equivalent
• Experience working with Children is an advantage
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• All necessary Certificates
• Patient care, time management, problem solving and Communication Skills
• Maintain high standards and quality service
