Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a highly regarded Adult Safeguarding Duty Screening Team in Kildare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage screening, triage, and referral of adult safeguarding concerns.
  • Respond to initial alerts and safeguarding reports, ensuring appropriate actions are taken promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including families, carers, and health and social care professionals.
  • Make decisions in line with HSE safeguarding policies, best practices, and legal frameworks such as the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act.
  • Maintain accurate records, assessments, and documentation to ensure clear and safe service provision.
  • Play a key role in advocating for the rights, dignity, and safety of adults at risk.

Essential Criteria:

  • CORU registered Social Worker (essential).
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding, social work leadership, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE Safeguarding Policy, risk assessment, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to transport is essential
  • Valid Garda and overseas clearances (if applicable).
