Excel Healthcare is currently seeking dedicated an Intellectual Disabilities Staff Nurse to join our team, providing exceptional care in a supportive and person-centered environment based in Dublin. As agency Nurse this role will suit anyone looking to work flexible hours that will suit their lifestyle.

Responsibilities for this ID Nurse job:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, ranging from moderate to profound.
• Support residents with person-centered care plans, promoting independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care in line with organizational values and best practices.
• Assist in managing behaviors that challenge, using appropriate intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements for this ID Nurse job:

• Hold RGN, RNMH, RNID, or other suitable nursing qualifications.
• Be registered as a Staff Nurse on the current register maintained by An Bord Altranais.
• Relevant experience working with individuals with behaviors that challenge is an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
• A full manual driving license is desirable.
