Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to work in a community hospital in North Donegal near Letterkenny.

Responsibilities of this Healthcare Assistant role:

• Deliver high quality care to every patient.
• Monitor and supporting patients.
• Assist the nurse and collaborating with other staff members.
• Communicate with patients, their families, and staff.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, and during mealtimes as needed.

Requirements of this Healthcare Assistant role:

• Have right to work in Ireland (EU or EEA Passport, IRP Stamps 1G, 2 or 4).
• Completed QQI Level 5 in healthcare or equivalent.
• Have all mandatory healthcare certificates such as patient manual handling, infection control and safeguarding adults.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in healthcare.
